Measure HLA – Political Campaign | Broadcast Ad Campaign & Photography directed by Gabriel Gaurano

Measure HLA (Healthy Streets Los Angeles) is a citizen-led street safety ballot measure that combats Los Angeles’ traffic fatality epidemic. It redesigns over 2500 miles of LA streets to be more safe, interconnected, and accessible for pedestrians, transit users, bikers, and motorists.

Led by creative director Josh Vredevoogd, campaign manager Jeff Millman, and proponent Michael Schneider, I directed the video campaign consisting of short ads on broadcast, cable, OTT, social, and more. Content includes testimonials from traffic violence victims, mobility justice leaders, environmental advocates, business experts, and more. Our ballot measure won a landslide victory in the 2024 US Primary Election.
